3/5 · Raised voice required · guessconfidence: medium

Publication explicitly notes 'can be noisy' with 'lively atmosphere, especially with live music, can make it quite loud' [6], but another source found 'an additional dining room which was quieter' [8], suggesting variability by location and time; the pub's live music venue status supports raised-voice territory as typical.

Quintessential Irish pub, since 1916. Enjoyed the Ballycastle sausage roll. Loved the hard cider - nice balance of crisp and mellow. Plan to return.

Great Irish pub, working long hours, serves good food and has good beers. Good option during the weekday, best for live music. Don't pass it by.

Its location in Post Alley adds to its charm. Can be noisy: The restaurant's lively atmosphere, especially with live music, can make it quite loud. Those seeking a quiet, intimate dining experience may find it challenging.

We were ravenous and decided to give Kelly’s a try. The gouda platter was really nice to share while we waited for our entrees. I thought the Shepherd’s pie had a generous portion of beef and I liked the side of cabbage. It was slightly bland but it was overall decent!
